The Real Problem

"there ain't many real problems exist in this world,
those problem that cannot be resolved,
can only be considered as real problem."
- Brother Mole

“A problem that can be solved, can not be considered as a real problem.” Brother Mole was saying this in an angry tone, like he was saying this to the whole world, but unfortunately, at that moment there was only me and a creaking standing fan in his dark living room.

“I might be able to help.” I tried to console him.
“Even if I can’t, there would be some people I know who might be able to offer some helps or services.” While saying this I quickly glanced at my watch.
I had been here for the past two and a half hour.
The cup of jasmine tea on the side table had already been cool off.

“Heiya, like I told you, this is a real problem we are facing here, this is not a metaphorical problem; nor this is a metaphysical problem, this is a real hard-to-solve problem, as hard as a nutshell. Please do not waste your energy here. A real problem ain’t to be solved. No one can!” Brother Mole said. When he has drawn a conclusion on a subject or something, no one can ever change his mind.

The 5pm sun was toasting the street.
When I left Brother Mole’s apartment, I had no idea what the problem was about.

He was the one who called me earlier on, telling me he was facing a real problem. I was there not for the cold jasmine tea.

Sigh. what actually the problem really was? I wondered.
